In the Battle of Ragnarok, an intense conflict unfolded between the alliance of Gods and Giants and the formidable Demon King Morroc and his dragons. Although Morroc was ultimately defeated, all races involved in the battle suffered tremendous losses. The disappearance of the God Odin, the sacrifice of Yimir, the Creator Giant, who saved the vulnerable Yggdrasil, and the dragons' retreat to the dark corners of the Nine Realms marked their defeat. In contrast, humans, previously considered weak, thrived in this altered landscape and emerged as the most dominant race in the post-Ragnarok era.

Over time, healing began to occur for those who survived the trauma of Ragnarok. Surprising sightings of Gods, Giants, and even dragons were reported by a select few humans. Meanwhile, Demon King Morroc regained power and once again coveted the World of Yggdrasil with its immense energy.
